Pat Picciano displays a typical Mexican alterThe Education Outreach Programs are designed to integrate the Margaritas experience with community organizations such as schools, universities, cultural institutions and service organizations.

We offer two great activities, Visiting Artists from Mexico (available to elementary, middle and high school students) and Field Trips to Margaritas Restaurants (available to middle and high school students).

Visiting Artists from Mexico
provide Margaritas with a unique opportunity to offer the community the extraordinary experience; while dining, patrons can observe award-winning folk artists demonstrate their craft and show their art.  Observers are encouraged to ask questions about the process and examine samples of the artists' work.  The artists also visit local schools and colleges conducting lectures, demonstrations and hands-on workshops with students.

Available to elementary, middle and high school students.

Field Trips to Margaritas Restaurants combine an educational experience with a fun interactive tour of a living gallery filled with folk art.  We present the Mexican culture through a variety of perspectives featuring a DVD presentation, extensive folk art, authentic cuisine and lectures of personal experience.  A tour of the restaurant features artifacts and furnishings produced by Mexican artisans allowing the participants to gain an appreciation of the Mexican culture by experiencing its craft and sampling its flavors.

Available to middle and high School Students.
