Epifanio Fuentes and Laurencia Santiago
With nothing more than a machete, some crude knives and a piece of wood, Epifanio will carve a whimsical creature right in front of your eyes! He has won numerous awards and has participated in exhibitions throughout Mexico and the United States. Most notably he has exhibited his work at the International Folk Art Museum in Santa Fe, NM. His wife Laurencia decorates the carvings with bright acrylic paints; her designs and vivid color combinations bring the carvings to life!
