Margaritas
on Brown St. is a large, festive downtown restaurant and lounge
in a historic four-story century-old brick building. With seating
capacity of about 300 people, this busy restaurant features
high ceilings, wall sized painted murals, decorations and furniture shipped
directly from Mexico. We have found that our customers come back often
because they love having dinner or Margaritas surrounded by colorful
Mexican craft work and our super friendly staff.
This show piece
is located in the heart of downtown Portland adjacent to the Cumberland
County Civic Center and hosts the Portland Pirates semi pro hockey
team and a wide range of musical, sporting, cultural and convention
events. It is also a dinner and happy hour destination of the many
professionals that work in the nearby offices. The restaurant is
also located in the middle of the Arts District, which is comprised
of the Maine College of Art (MECA), The Portland Museum of Art and The
Children's Museum. All places within walking distance to the restaurant
and Old Port section of Portland's downtown. Come on in and
check it out!
